Roadworks affecting access to BLT
West Street, from Bromley Market Square to College Road (past Sainsbury’s) will not be accessible from Monday 27 October for three, maybe four weeks. During this time, there will be no access to West Street via South Street or East Street.
Vehicles needing access to West Street or North Street coming from Widmore Road or Kentish Way will need to go to the junction of Tweedy Road and College Road and then TURN LEFT into College Road which will become a two-way street for the duration of disruption and then turn left again into North Street or straight on for West Street.
Vehicles needing access to West Street or North Street coming from Beckenham Lane or London Road will need to turn into Farwig Lane from London Road, then turn right into College Road and then carry straight on through the temporary traffic lights.
There will be no right turn into College Road from Tweedy Road for access to West Street.
When leaving North Street, vehicles will need to turn right and use the temporary left hand lane of College Road.
