We want to put together a small publicity team to promote our theatre in the local community and beyond. We’ve made a good start with our social media marketing and want to do more.
But we want this team to concentrate on non-digital publicity. Typical activities might include connecting with local people, groups, schools & colleges, companies, shops, council etc etc….the list goes on, but we will encourage the team to come up with its own ideas, recommend an action plan to the board – and get going!
This is a really important project for the theatre – to increase ticket sales and raise our community profile to help us raise the money we need to re-develop our theatre. You don’t need marketing or publicity experience – if you have energy, enthusiasm and initiative you’ll be ideally qualified!
