I am delighted to have taken over from Jane Buckland as Chair of the Board of Trustees of BLT. I have been an active member of the theatre for more than 9 years and have been privileged to have been on the Board for the last 3.
BLT is entering a very exciting phase in its history. If you have visited the theatre recently you may well have seen the scaffolding that signals the start of important works to the roof of the theatre. This is just the beginning. We have ambitious plans to redevelop the premises and facilities at our much-loved home in north Bromley. You will be hearing a lot more from the BLT Board about those plans in the coming months, together with our fund raising initiatives. It will certainly be all hands on deck to raise the funds we need and we would love to have your support.
If you are a member of BLT and would like to meet me I will be coming to the AGM of the BLT Playgoers Committee that represents the voice of our members on Monday 4th September and would love to see you.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to say a personal thank you to my predecessor Jane Buckland. Jane has steered the theatre very successfully through an extremely important time and I have watched her do so with great energy, skill and intelligence. Jane will be a hard act to follow.
I am very much looking forward to working with my fellow Board members to take the theatre forward in the coming years.
