Murder on the Nile

Murder on the Nile

By Agatha Christie

Directed by Marion Barker and Steve Hemsley

An amateur production by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd

A luxurious cruise along the Nile should be the trip of a lifetime and for newlyweds Kay and Simon, it’s a chance to leave the past behind them. Except all is not as it seems, and when Simon’s ex-fiancée turns up unexpectedly their hopes of peace and privacy are shattered.

Rocked by a shocking murder, an intriguing array of passengers find themselves trapped aboard, with a killer in their midst. As motives emerge and loyalties begin to unravel, every conversation becomes a clue, and every new revelation raises the stakes.  As the mystery unfolds, danger lurks around every corner, and no one can be trusted.

One of Agatha Christie’s finest mysteries, Murder on the Nile has all the ingredients that have made her the undisputed Queen of Crime: unforgettable characters, ingenious plotting and enough red herrings to keep even the keenest detective guessing. Elegant, suspenseful and hugely entertaining, it’s a classic whodunnit that proves nobody creates a mystery quite like Christie.
