A Bromley Blues Club production

Bromley Blues Club are excited to present a very special evening of the blues in tribute to Peter Green from those who knew and worked with him.

John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers appeared regularly in Bromley throughout the 1960’s, both with Eric Clapton and then Peter Green who replaced him.  In July 1967, Green appeared with the band during the period of the release of the ‘Hard Road’ album, which featured ‘The Supernatural’ as a showcase instrumental.  Now, once again, the Blues are back in Bromley.

Supernatural is a celebration of the peerless Peter Green, drawing mainly on his glorious heydays with John Mayall’s  Bluesbreakers, and the band he founded – the original Fleetwood Mac.  The setlist will convey the poignancy of Peter’s playing and writing, from ‘The Stumble’ to ‘Man of the World’.  There will be personal anecdotes from players who knew him, and original songs inspired by him.   Conceived by ‘Timeless Tim’ Hain, a lifetime Green-lover, the line-up includes fellow devotees Alan Glen (Yardbirds, Nine Below Zero)  the ‘ever-Green’, hugely entertaining Robin Bibi, Tansay Omar, and Osibisa’s current frontman Gregg Kofi Brown, who played with Peter in the early days of Kolors.
