The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
By Deborah Moggach
Directed by Allan Osborne
An amateur production by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd
Looking for sunshine and an easier life, a group of British retirees arrive in India expecting comfort and luxury. Instead, they’re greeted by a crumbling hotel, an endlessly optimistic young manager and a culture that’s both unfamiliar and wonderfully alive. As plans unravel and friendships blossom, each discovers that life’s next chapter can hold far more than they ever imagined.
Adapted by Deborah Moggach from her bestselling novel, this heart-warming comedy is packed with humour, hope and humanity. Richly populated with unforgettable characters, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel proves that life’s greatest adventures don’t always happen when you’re young, it’s never too late for love, adventure or a fresh start.
