The ZORBS are an exciting five piece, if not ‘slightly bonkers’ (Thanks JFS) combo of local talent,
Geoff Paice – guitar, vocals, Gus McKinlay – bass, Gavin Shirley – drums, Michelle Contini – keys, fiddle, vocals and Mark ‘Dobbo‘ Dobson – vocals.
Alternative? Indie? Pop? Funky? Rock?…YES and more. They will be showcasing songs from their soon to be released album, as well as classic ZORBS’ tracks, and covers from the likes of The Monkees, Clash, Beastie Boys, Adam and the Ants, Ian Dury, XTC, PIL, Hives, White Stripes.
They are quirky, different, full of theatre and make the ordinary come to life with their inspired lyrics and brilliantly crafted songs.
They will get hold of you and take you on a trip around Planet ZORB.
From the new jump around ‘Bounce’ to the poignant ‘5.32’…
With ‘sunshine in your heart’, bring your ‘brand new second hand air guitar’. You don’t have to be ‘plant powered people dancing round moon trees’, but ‘get your groove on’, spot the aliens amongst us, ladies and gentlemen, as they’re ‘OUT THERE’ … and have a fun time!!
