The future of our theatre. Could you play a crucial role in it? |
![]() |
BLT recently announced a major funding project to raise Β£85,000 from our members and supporters. We also need to raise a further Β£400,000 from Trusts, Foundations and the National Lottery. Β Unfortunately, the fund-raising team focused on this has unexpectedly lost two of its key members and we urgently need to find people to take their places. Β Could you be one of them? Β The work should only involve a few hours a week and could be done remotely to suit your schedule. Β There are two main aspects of these roles: Β 1) Research grant funding organisations to establish whether the theatre meets eligibility requirements Β 2) Where there is a potential match, obtain, complete, submit and monitor the application process through to a decision being made. Β Weβre looking for good organisers with excellent written and oral communication skills The ability to quickly establish and manage relationships with the FR team, theatre board and prospective grant funding organisations Β The ability to enjoy (and contribute to) being part of a team. Β Project Manager needed! BLT is committed to becoming an energy efficient and environmentally responsible theatre. Β We recently commissioned an independent Eco Audit from a specialist consultancy and now want to implement their recommendations. Β So we are also looking for a Project Manager to help with this. Β Reporting to the Board, you would oversee the effective and timely delivery of actions resulting from the ECO Audit. Β The work should only involve a few hours a week and could be done remotely. Β Requirements for the role include: Good stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills Understanding of project management software Able to monitor project progress and deadlines Keeping the board informed of progress and problems Β If you think you may be able to help with any of these roles, please contact our Chair Bruce Wallace at brucewallace@bromleylittletheatre.org |
