Make your reservations for Separate Tables

Separate Tables   By Terrence Rattigan

In a 1950’s Bournemouth hotel where the furnishings and the residents have both seen better days, secrets and scandal lie beneath the carefully-placed tablecloths. Marooned on separate tables, Rattigan presents a rich collection of characters who superbly present the vulnerability, loneliness and misplaced pride of lives essentially unfulfilled.   12 – 20 May at 7.45pm Book now
Coming next month and booking now…

A Few Good Men   by Aaron Sorkin

The original stage version of the famous movie! Two US Marines are on trial over the death of a fellow Marine. At first, their young rookie lawyer is more interested in playing softball than fighting their case. But as events unfold he finds himself valiantly defending his clients and uncovering a shocking conspiracy. A gripping – and timely – drama that puts the military mentality on the stand.   9 – 17 June Book now

Love, Loss & What I Wore   by Nora and Delia Ephron

Witty, wise and wonderful, this play proves that great storytelling is always in fashion. From the brilliant Ephron sisters who created such mega-hits as When Harry Met Sally, You’ve Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle and Silkwood this funny, tender and compelling piece uses clothing as a metaphor for all the big moments in our lives. A magnificent celebration of life through old but unforgotten clothes.   21-25 June (in the Bar) Book now

Fancy volunteering? Come to one of our social evenings!

After two successful trial evenings which brought together a mix of new and not so new volunteers, stage management people and techs, we have scheduled more Thursday social evenings in The Railway pub (next door to BLT).  If you’d like to meet up, just come along after 7:30pm on any of the following dates:   May – 4th and 25th June – 1st and 22nd July – 6th and 20th   We know not everyone can – or will wish to – come every time but do come as it gives us all an opportunity to catch up and meet new members.
Look the part in a BLT shirt   Whether you are working front of house or backstage or simply want to look your best, one of our new BLT shirts will help you promote the theatre and look the part on and off stage.  The shirts will be black with a logo in white and are available in a choice of styles. All you need to do is choose the one that’s right for you! Learn More

Free theatre nights for schools

Over the last 18 months we’ve been inviting school groups and their teachers to watch our Wednesday night dress rehearsal performances for free. The young people are greeted by the play’s director, given an outline of the play and participate in a Q/A session with the cast and crew. They love the experience of being in a “real” theatre….for some it’s often the first time! We now want to offer these free nights of great theatre to more schools in the Bromley area. So if you know someone in a local secondary school who you think might be interested…….or maybe you are a teacher or have connections to a school and think this would be a great chance for young people to get involved in theatre, please contact Bruce Wallace at brucewallace@bromleylittletheatre.org or Pauline Armour at paulinearmour@bromleylittletheatre.org

Do you have project management skills? BLT needs you!

We’re about to start on some important building development work at BLT….a mix of repairing, improving, finishing and decorating.     We need to schedule and manage this activity logically and cost-effectively….and that calls for good project management.   Do you have the skills and experience to help us for a few hours a week over the next few months?  You can work remotely and when it suits you. If you think you can help your local outstanding theatre for everyone, please contact brucewallace@bromleylittletheatre.org .
