It’s another two-show month at BLT! First up, opening April 14th…
Hedda Gabler   by Henrik Ibsen   Hedda is only just back from her honeymoon but has already tired of her husband. Dissatisfied and unfulfilled, she seeks to take back control, but every action has a consequence, and the smallest spark can kindle the greatest flame… Don’t miss this riveting brand-new adaptation of Ibsen’s classic!   14 – 22 April Book now

Then get ready for April’s unmissable Bar show…
The Height of the Storm   by Florian Zeller   André and Madeleine have been in love for over fifty years, but this weekend, as their daughters visit, something feels unusual. Flowers arrive, but who sent them? A woman from the past turns up, but who is she? Why is a man sharpening knives? And why does André feel like he isn’t there at all? A compelling and thought-provoking drama from the writer of The Father.   26 – 30 April (in the Bar) Book now
Also coming soon and booking now…
Separate Tables   By Terrence Rattigan   In a 1950’s Bournemouth hotel where the furnishings and the residents have both seen better days, secrets and scandal lie beneath the carefully-placed tablecloths. Marooned on separate tables, Rattigan presents a rich collection of characters who superbly present the vulnerability, loneliness and misplaced pride of lives essentially unfulfilled.   12 – 20 May Book now
A Few Good Men   by Aaron Sorkin   The original stage version of the famous movie comes to BLT! Two US Marines are on trial over the death of a fellow Marine. At first, their young rookie lawyer is more interested in playing softball than fighting their case. But as events unfold he finds himself valiantly defending his clients and uncovering a shocking conspiracy. A gripping – and timely – drama that puts the military mentality on the stand.   9 – 17 June Book now
Extra audition!   Our just-announced October show ‘Present Laughter’ by Noel Coward, will be auditioning on Sunday April 16th at 12pm
In this quintessential Coward comedy, Garry Essendine, successful actor and loveable rogue, is having a mid-life crisis. Despite the rather imaginative efforts of his secretary and ex-wife to rein in his behaviour and keep him out of trouble, chaos inevitably ensues along with a constant stream of largely unexpected and unwelcome visitors to his London studio.   Auditioning Sunday April 16th at 12pm. (Playing dates: 13 – 21 October 2023)

Do you have project management skills? BLT needs you!
We’re about to start on some important building development work at BLT….a mix of repairing, improving, finishing and decorating.   We need to schedule and manage this activity logically and cost-effectively….and that calls for good project management.   Do you have the skills and experience to help us for a few hours a week over the next few months? You can work remotely and when it suits you.   If you think you can help your local outstanding theatre for everyone, please contact brucewallace@bromleylittletheatre.org or on 07766 826 258.
Treat yourself to 20% off a pre-theatre meal and 10% off post-show drinks

Wanted: a couple of hosts with the most!
Splash Damage is a large computer gaming company based in Royal Court, Tweedy Road, just a stone’s throw from BLT.   They’re one of Bromley’s largest employers and they’re looking for a couple of talented people to host their regular internal events like Bingo Nights and Quizzes. So naturally, they’ve asked if any BLT members might be interested!   These are paid gigs and will be a lot of fun, so if you’re interested, please email Chelsea Cox at Chelsea.Cox@splashdamage.com for details.
