Here’s our 2025-2026 strategy.
It marks an exciting milestone, as we share with you our vision, mission, and values, alongside key highlights from 2025 and our strategic priorities moving forward.
We are committed to being more transparent and engaged with our community, members and supporters, and I invite you to contact me via the email address below with your thoughts or feedback on the strategy.
I would like to thank all our wonderful volunteers – the heartbeat of our theatre – as we continue to build on the success of our past and work towards a bright future of outstanding theatre for everyone.
Thank you all for being a part of our journey.

OUR VALUES

2025 IN NUMBERS

2025 BEHIND THE SCENES
Finance
- 2025 ticket sales (with one fewer show) were a record-breaking £131,624 – up 15% on 2024 – which had previously been our best year!
building works
- Our successful grant funding, and Supporter campaigns – together with a chunk of BLT’s reserves – allowed us to start work on building our new, fully accessible, Foyer. It will open to the public in March 2026.
Communications
- Our show marketing continues to go from strength-to-strength, with creative and consistent emails and social media posting, helping us to achieve excellent sales.
- We made improvements to our website accessibility, information architecture and standardised content warnings.
Governance & Policy
- We committed to an annual review of all our Policies – you can see them here .
Youth Theatre
- Our Youth Theatre once again excelled themselves winning first prize for their show, Radium Girls, in the Kent Drama Association awards – their third in a row!
- Current and former Youth Theatre members continued to be involved in several of our shows throughout 2025.
- Unsurprisingly, our Youth Theatre – brilliantly run by Pauline Armour and Jessica-Ann Jenner – remains in huge demand, with a long waiting list for new members.
Research & Feedback
- We continue to conduct research and feedback with our audiences, cast & crew and community groups to improve our data and find new audiences.
Volunteers
- We conducted Director training and updates to Director and Stage Management Handbooks.
- We set up a Production Management Group to ensure a more consolidated and efficient way of planning, staging and crewing our shows
- We continued our monthly crew & volunteer social evenings open to all (first Thursdays).
- We also introduced quarterly open-house evenings to help Volunteers keep in touch, meet new people and hear first-hand about our plans and opportunities to get involved.
- Our volunteer on-boarding, communication and management processes have been comprehensively overhauled and will be introduced in the first half of 2026.
Sustainability
- We continue to find ways to improve managing our waste and making the theatre more sustainable and Eco friendly.
Community Engagement
- We continue to strengthen our connections with community groups and charities – several of whom have taken up our offer to use our space free of charge.
- Our Monday Meet up in conjunction with the Chatty Cafe Scheme continues.
- We will be hosting a week-long Community Arts Festival at the theatre in July this year. It will be a vibrant, inclusive celebration placing the theatre at the heart of our local community. Our aim is to offer people in our community a meaningful, shared experience that truly reflects who we are and what we stand for.
- Welcome: opening our doors to all parts of the community, creating a friendly, inclusive, and accessible space.
- Inspire: showcasing the creative breadth of what we and others can do, sparking curiosity and connection.
- Create: encouraging participation in performance, learning and artistic expression in all its forms.
Music Nights
- Under the Bromley Blues Club banner, Jazz and Blues gigs continue to be popular Sunday night entertainment and introduce new audiences to our theatre.

OUR ONGOING STRATEGIC PRIORITIES
