It’s Festival Time!
Once again, BLT cleaned up at both the Bromley Theatre Guild and Kent Drama Association Full-Length Play Festivals in June! The BTG awards presentation was held at Keston this year and the KDA ceremony was held in the wilds of Kent: Bearsted Village Hall.
Our entry for both festivals was Compleat Female Stage Beauty, directed by BLT chair, Jane Buckland. The show was an enormous susccess with our audiences and both festival adjudicators seemed to agree with them – nominating the show in 11 categories at the BTG, winning 7, and putting it forward for 7 awards at the KDA where it won 6.
