BLT presents an evening of exciting new music!
CANCELLED DUE TO COVID. Sorry. Full refunds will be given.
Scurravagus are Rob Widdicombe on vocals and guitar, Chris Gardner on piano and organ, Josh Williams-Ward on drums (all of whom will be familiar to a BLT audience), Nassima Amir on vocals and flute, and Mick O’Connor on double bass.
How to describe the music? Folk? Jazz? Prog? Pop? Scurravagus incorporates elements of all of these and more in their original songs of life and death, love and loss, passion and obsession.
Gods of the Underworld are an emerging “gritpop” band from South East London, fronted by Rob Bartlitz, a classically-trained musician who who has been active on the local music scene for years, most notably at The Icarus Club. He is joined by Kaveh Ghandizadeh on bass and Carl Amos on drums. Collectively, their influences range from classic rock to jazz, hip-hop, and funk.
